Hi everyone
Consultation session in Second Life: A Vision for Science and Society
Monday 22 September 2008, 6.50 – 8.00pm
You may already be a member of the virtual world Second Life – or you may be looking for an opportunity to try it out.
Either way, join the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology for an hour on 22 September, 7pm, to discuss the government’s new consultation document: A Vision for Science and Society. The UKRC is keen to ensure that issues of gender equality are part of the agenda.
We will meet at the newly-redesigned island run by Nature magazine (many thanks to Nature for their help). You do not need to read the report in advance. The event is free. Please book in advance.
To book a place:
Email: info@ukrc4setwomen.org
Phone: 01274 436485
Website: http://www.ukrc4setwomen.org/html/news-and-events/events/?event_id=866
Hope to see you there!

Hello Ruth, just to let you know I will feature this event on Nautilus, the Nature pub group’s blog for past, present and future authors, in the next couple of days (probably Thursday). I hope the event goes well.
