Hotels before SciFoo

Hi, all -
I’m flying in (from Heathrow) on the Wednesday afternoon before SciFoo, to give myself a day to try and get on something near to the right timezone. Does anyone know what days Google are – very kindly! – offering us rooms for?
If nothing else, my airline want to know where I’ll be on my first night in the USA for the Advance Passenger Information stuff they need to provide to US immigration, so I guess I need to work out where I’m going to be!

Google are paying for rooms at the Wild Palms Hotel on Friday and Saturday nights. If you arrive earlier or leave later (or stay somewhere else) then you’ll need to cover that yourself.
Confirmed SciFoo attendees should now have received an email with hotel booking (and other) information.

I am coming from UK too but only allowing one night zone adjusting. Wild Palms rate is $105 per night before the SciFoo – if they still have room – I booked 4 or 5 days ago by phone as the we site couldn’t cope with wanting to stay in the same room as I was getting at the camp. I will have car and plan to go Elephant Seal watching on the Friday before the start if anyone is interested in coming along.
