I thought some people might like to know that Tom Levenson, Professor of Science Writing at MIT is NPG’s next guest in Second Life, next Tuesday 7th at 10am PDT/1pm EDT/6pm BST. He’ll be talking about his new book, Newton and the Counterfeiters (all about Isaac Newton’s little known career as a detective!) and will be taking questions from the audience on that, his own career as a writer or on anything else you care to ask.
The details are here on Nature Network: the event is free and everyone is very welcome. If you’d like to come, but aren’t quite sure how to get set up with Second Life, by all means drop me a line (j.scott@nature.com) and I can happily help – it’s quite easy once you’re started.
Mods – apologies if this is too self-publicising. I have been reading this forum for ages and it seemed like the kind of thing people might be interested in, but feel free to delete if you don’t agree!

The link takes me to a profile of Tom Levenson, but no details of the event.
I want to pass it on.
