applications in epidemiology

Hi Science Commons group
I am a data scientist looking to learn more about science commons and its possible applications in epidemiology. I am familiar with semantic web and RDF and am ready to write a SPARQL Query for NeuroCommons, but I am just not sure the best way to construct the query. Based off an example query on the sparql.neurocommons.org interface, I would like to query sciencecommons for things that mention “cancer”. Also, I am not sure what “things” are in science common data source, does a catalog exists detailing the “things” available?
I apologize if these questions are inappropriate for this discussion group, but am eager to learn and any further direction would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Troy

Sorry for the belated reply; perhaps my settings are wrong for NNB as I don’t remember having seen this before.
We have an open Google group, http://groups.google.com/group/neurocommons-rdf, which is probably the best place to ask questions like this. If you haven’t gotten an answer and still want one, I suggest you repost there.
Thanks
Jonathan
