Popular science outlets in Australia

Newspapers, magazines, Internet sites, radio and TV programmes that cover science here in Australia.
If we need to engage with the community more, wouldn’t it be useful to make a list of where we need to go to do it?
I bet there’s already a web site that covers this, but I haven’t stumbled across one yet (obviously not spending enough time on the Internet!), so I thought I’d start one here…

Well, to begin, how about the favourite reading of all biologists Down Under (when they’re not reading Nature_, of course): "_Australian Life Scientist.":http://www.biotechnews.com.au/index.php?secid=5555

For popular science it is hard to go past the international mags like new scientist, national geographic or even australian geographic. Not sure how you access those markets though.

Australasian Science is a very good Popular Science magazine that doesn’t dumb things down terribly much
There’s also good old Dr Karl and the Sleek Geeks
If you’re into the medical scene, I’ve found 6minutes and Croakey good websites to follow too.
