The Clinical Cases and Images blog has highlighted a recent study on which of the “Big Five” personality traits are most common among bloggers.
Apparently:
“People who are high in openness to new experience and high in neuroticism are likely to be bloggers. Additionally … women who are high in neuroticism are more likely to be bloggers as compared to those low in neuroticism whereas there was no difference for men.”
What do you all think? Are female bloggers inherently neurotic?!

I was seated on the flight Paris-Toulouse last week next to a couple of women, mother and daughter, who looked right daggers at me when I mentioned that I would like to occupy the seat between them, and disgraciously moved out and allowed me to squeeze by both to access the window seat. They then proceeded to talk about clothing for one hour and ten minutes, the younger one with InStyle (in English) open on her lap, and the older one going on about blue scarves and white shoes and so on. It made me think of that scene in The Devil Wears Prada where the enterprising young lady, before her final perversion, gets lectured by the fashion magnate about cerulean blue. I remember thinking how absolutely futile – but then again, I am sure members of the fashion industry think the same about my replying in blog comment threads about PCR buffers …

At least I’m not the only one who saw that movie. Actually, I think it was on a flight..

Yeah, me too – which makes it delightfully circular, doesn’t it!

perhaps they were reenacting the scene subconsciously…or as performance art.
