My photos are here
I’ve tagged them sciblog as requested.
If you’re featured in one of these photos and would rather the photo would not be public, please get in touch.
Conversely, feel free to download and use as you like any of the photos in which you feature.
Looking forward to seeing other people’s photos!

Sometimes, I feel like a pair of curtains.

Henry:-)
But why I really came here was to ask is that now I have downloaded a few pictures from my camera I am just wondering if there is anywhere I can upload them (if that’s expression) so that just attendees of the conference can see them?
Any advice much appreciated.

@ Claire,
Nice to meet you.
Flickr remains the most popular place to upload photos.
Here’s all the ones tagged with sciblog so far.
As to restricting viewing to attendees only, that’s going to be tricky.
At Flickr, you can choose from a number of CC licenses though as to how protective or not of your work you choose to be.

Don’t know why the last entry (from me) got tagged as anon.

@Clare: you would have two options, both of which involving you assembling e-mail contact information of the audience you want to target. Either you find that everyone is already on Flickr, in which case you need to hunt them down and add them to your set of Friends on there, or (slightly easier) you can upload your photos, get a temporary link to that set, and send it privately to the mailing list you have assembled off site.
Something similar is possible through Facebook as well.
Thanks to Raf for putting the blame on me, but I’m not the one with the camera and the skill. Just some sense of the incongruous.

Or we could start an invite only flickr group. I think private photos can be viewed by all members of the groups that they are submitted to?

Thank you Graham and Heather! It was great to meet you both too. I just had a happy five minutes looking at all the photos – and particularly struck by the black and white ones…they have a certain clarity that’s somehow lost in colour. I think I’ve now signed up for Flikr and shall attempt to upload here. I won’t name anyone so I think that would be OK – though think Joe’s suggestion sounds like a good one…

Some more pictures of the SciTour for those who like Londonly Sciency things.

I seem to have to upload tools or something – anyway, while this is slowly chugging away, and I fathom out what I am supposed to do next, here is a link to the ones I’ve managed to the four I managed to upload http://www.flickr.com/photos/30083849@N05/tags/sciblog/

Besides pictures, did anyone get audio / video of any of the speakers? I noticed what looked like a video camera for the Faraday theatre. Sorry if I’ve just missed it!
