Drinkies on Friday night?

Andy Lewis and I just realised that there might not be a Friday night boozing plan.
Is there, and we’ve missed it? Are you keeping it from us?
Anyway, I would suggest something like
at 7pm, unless people will be in kensington after matt’s science tour, in which case should someone nominate a boozer there that might be fairly cheap and relatively sparsely populated?
maybe we could fanny about discussing this here for a bit and then aim to post a definitive pub plan by late this (thurs) evening?

okay, in the absence of any other, this is the plan.
anybody from the scienceblogging event who wants to drink on Friday, we will be Fitzroy Tavern, 7pm, corner of charlotte st and windmill st, about 80 yds north west of tottenham court road tube.
dresscode nerdy. we’ll be easy to find. all welcome.

Hi Ben,
My current schedule takes to a crashing out house in Pewsey on Friday. Whilst this will/may piss off my guest, may one tentatively inquire about joining this important pre-conf sesh and declare an interest in one of the two spare beds?
I fear that if I run with my current plan (trains from Pewsey to Padd. early Sat are limited) , I’ll miss early proceedings on Sat.

Clearly the key role of the key speaker – pub choice. I’ll probably be along on Friday…if there’s a change of plan, would be nice if someone could let me know.

Thanks for getting this going Ben. I’m leading a science tour of London today – half are NN bloggers so will be going to the meal, but the other half will need a good pub so I’ll coax them towards the Fitzroy.
