Biotechnology YES (Young Entrepreneurs Scheme)

Biotechnology YES (Young Entrepreneurs Scheme) is aimed at encouraging young postgraduate and doctoral students in developing biotechnology entrepreneurship and exposing them to issues involved in commercialization of bio-science.
1.2 The scheme is sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) & UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), UK Government.
YES is supported by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), New Delhi, a worldwide not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship globally and Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprise (ABLE), the apex Biotechnology Industry Association of India.

The Rhodes Scholarship is the world’s oldest and most prestigious international fellowship. The scholarships were initiated after the death of Cecil John Rhodes and have been awarded to applicants annually since 1902 by the Rhodes Trust in Oxford on the basis of academic qualities, as well as those of character. They provide the successful candidate with two years of study at the University of Oxford in England, possibly extended for a third year.

The Oxford University 21st Century Challenge Competition is a new and ambitious international entrepreneurship competition being run by the Said Business School, Oxford.

Entries are now invited into the following challenge tracks:
. Tomorrow’s Planet – the environment
. Tomorrow’s People – healthcare and medicine
. Tomorrow’s Wealth – wealth distributionThe deadline for all submissions is 5pm (GMT), Friday 12th October.
The overall competition winner will receive the top prize of GBP 35,000 in cash, with three further prizes of GBP10,000 for the winner of each challenge track.
