I have possibility to accept an international Ph.D. student. It is a four year Ph.D. program. The student will be registered at the Karolinska Institutet. The project involves study of signaling mechanisms in the beta cells. We are focussing on calcium signaling and TRP ion channels. No prior experience is necessary but the candidate must be highly motivated for this kind of research. There is no tution-fee but the candidate is expected to cover his/her living expenses in Stockholm during the four years. Living expenses in Stockholm is about 10,000 SEK per month per person.
