Two events from the R&D Society on 18 November 2008
An afternoon seminar: Facilitating Creativity and Innovation will look at how to optimise the relationship between R&D and marketing – essential for successful commercialisation of technology.
In the evening, Dr Allyson Reed, Director of Strategy and Communications, Technology Strategy Board will speak on Connect and Catalyse – how the Technology Strategy Board accelerates innovation. This will be followed by a discussion dinner with Allyson, held under the Chatham House rule.

I wonder whether there are similarities between stratetgies of how to optimise the relationship between R&D and marketing and how scientific journals market themselves? (By which I mean increase their numbers of subscribers, whether personal or instiutional.)
