problem on how to traverse the graph.. Please help

Hello everybody.. I am currently pursuing a project on scale free networks invented by Albert L. Barabasi of the Notre Dame University. And now, I am badly stuck in a problem. I have to find out the number of components in a graph and I don’t know how to code this in python.. Please suggest some ideas on how I can do this.. I am using python and networkx package to do this. Please help. Thanks in advance.
