  Hi, everyone. My name is Jane, and I am doing my PhD in Hongkong University of Science and Technology. My research interests are majoring in cell polarity and lipid protein interaction. I decided to pursue a PhD degree because I like science and I want to contribute to the society as a scientist.

  Hi,

  I am Javier and I started my PhD in neurodegenerative disorders and the influence of mitochondrion in these diseases. I work specially in Parkinson.

  Where… At the Faculty of Medicine, Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.

  I start my PhD because I love the science. For me is a great opportunity a job in that you could discover new things to help other people.

  Hi! I’m Xevi (Biochemist) and my Phd is about Gene Therapy with adenovirus in Pancreatic Cancer.

  I’m doing that in the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona.

  Why?? Maybe one day, I would like to become a scientist…

  hi This is amit,
  my research work involved study of viral replication and its inhibtion through shRNA…which would lead to me Ph.D.
  My work place is AIIMS, India..
  Why i want to do Ph.D because this is the medium to appreciate intelligence of viruses and prepare effective counter attack against them.

  Hi Amit. This is Rajneesh . I am doing Ph.D in Taiwan at Academia Sinica. My research is based on cancer-induced immune suppression nad rediretcion of immune system towards cancer.
