Fossil Field Work Planned for 2009

I’ll be heading out to many fossil exposures around the Pacific Northwest, collecting Eocene plants and insects from Cache Creek, Hettangian ammonites from the Taseko Lakes and Cretaceous marine goodies from around Harrison Lake and the Nanaimo Group.

In santiago, Chile I have found amonites and other fossils in the Lo valdes to 3000 meters snm of altitude in summer, it is also a good place to take out pictures and the places and landscapes it is beautiful, I believe that you would like that place.

Yes, we have been lucky and we found beautiful specimens in the quarries of Mountain range of Los Andes (Lo Valdes). Additionally they locate two artificial lake called “Embalse del Yeso” and other lake denominated “Black Lagoon”.
