NYC hub finally here! Farewell, beloved nyc forum!

Well, we toiled away for the past 10 or so months as the nyc forum and now have a shiny new hub! To those who enjoyed the monthly happy hours throughout 2008, rest assured that those will continue. There was a break for the holidays, and then the break was extended to complete the launch, but stay tuned for a future get-together to celebrate this important change.
I’d like to thank everyone who participated in the creation and maintenance of the nyc group and hope that you will continue your participation at the new hub. I wish the best of luck to our new community organizers, Caryn and Barry. I think we are in capable hands.

In short, you now have your very own Jobs and Events listings, along with a Blog bringing you the latest updates on science news around the city. You also now have a dedicated Forum where you can share tips on life in the big city.
