A notice from Andrew Gelman, a Political Science professor at Columbia University regarding his new book:
Dear NYC-area friends and colleagues,
As many of you already know, my new book, “Red State, Blue State, Rich State, Poor State,” was just published by Princeton University Press. (For those who haven’t heard, lots of information, including excerpts, snippets from reviews, and a blog, are at http://redbluerichpoor.com/)
If anyone has further curiosity on the matter, I’ll be speaking in a couple places in NYC. On Monday, 6 Oct, I’ll be speaking in an event cosponsored by the Columbia Journalism School, with discussions by Nicholas Lemann and Thomas Edsall. It’ll be 4:30pm at room 801, International Affairs Building.
Next Tues, 14 Oct, I’ll be speaking at NYU at 10am in room 802 of the Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South.
Both talks are intended for general politically-minded audiences.
