We need a name, a collective identity. Bloggers on ScienceBlogs are SciBlings. What are we? Let’s better define our identity as bloggers. All ideas and suggestions for a nickname for Nature Network Bloggers are most welcome. (Preferably one word and of course, catchy).

I like #18, scieNNtists.

I vote for NatWorkers

I still like #1 but #18 too.
BTW, #1 is a play of words on UK hit comedy show Absolutely Fabulous which is known to the masses as AbFab. However, only folks in the UK may make the connection. LabFab’s however is fairly self explanatory.

I like #18, scieNNtists, but not all of our bloggers are ‘scientists.’ Brian, for example, is an author of popular science books.
I like Betsy’s suggestion: NatNetters
Other derivatives:
NatNetsters
NatureNetsters
NatureNetters
NatureNetworkersSorry for the late suggestions…didn’t mean to mess up your poll, Martin!

NatureNetworkers
Class. Nice one Corie.

Oh I thought I had made up my mind, but now I am conflicted! So many great suggestions.
I vote for:
Natloggers
Natlings (a little too close to SciBlings, but if it ain’t broke…)
NaNeBloggers -
What is in a name? Nature blogs shortens to Nogs. Which reminds me of the UK kids stories of Noggin the Nog. Unfortunately Nog and Noggins have other meanings in the USA cultural base but it is a shame as I think the term Noggins has a certain charm.

nlogers
NatBloggers
NattersThat’s all I could think of.

I like “Natloggers” the best out of the current suggestions.
