New blog posts listing

On a few occasions I have finished two blog posts in quick succession. I notice that only the second one survives in the list of “Blogs – Recent posts”. So, this listing is actually “The most recent blog post from any blog that has had a recent post”.
Today I spotted another wrinkle – the hub blogs are not subject to this limitation. I have just seen three posts from Matt in the “local hub blogs” listing!
What I’d really like to see is some customisable display that let me quickly see which blogs have new posts (and all new posts), which posts have new comments, and all in a fairly compact way. I’d want to be able to see this for ALL blogs or just for my selected favourite blogs.
Oh, and exactly the same thing for Forum posts and comments.
I suspect I may have to wait for MT6 …

Thanks for your feedback Frank. I have asked our developers to change how the local hub blogs are displayed on the Blogs homepage, so that we don’t have 1 or 2 people dominating that hub blogs area.
The customisable display idea is a good idea, but our list of to-dos is growing longer by the day and we have several higher-priority items on there.
Do you subscribe to our RSS feeds? We have feeds for all the latest blog posts, latest forum topics and of course each blog and forum has its own RSS feed. There’s also the latest blog comments page which currently doesn’t have a RSS feed but this task is already logged with our developers.
