Nature Network group on SlideShare?

What do people think of the idea of having a Nature Network group on slideshare, where we can upload presentations? I’d be happy to set one up if NN users would be interested in joining.
We could also have a group for the Science Blogging conference presentations: there are a few presentations from the conference on SlideShare on various people’s accounts, but as far as I can see, no dedicated group. Again I can set this up if people are interested, and post the URL here and in the Science Blogging 2008 forum (where I will cross-post this notice).

Well I don’t need much encouragement and so I’ll go and do it, as it is Sunday and who knows how much time there’ll be once the week hits? (Well, I can guess.)
OK, it is done! Here is the link. Or, in full:

Fantastic. Thanks Maxine.

Thanks Maxine, I joined your slideshare group. Scribd is a good alternative, and both do also Word and PDF files, as well as private sharing with a secret URL.

Brilliant! Thanks so much for doing that, Maxine.

Thanks, all. I am not used to such praise, which is undeserved because it only took a couple of mins to set up.
I used SlideShare because that’s where you started uploading presentations, Anna, but there probably are sites that offer better functionality, eg the one Martin mentioned or Nature Precedings. I hope the SlideShare group will be useful, though: if NN users “share” their presentations from other talks to the group, we might build up quite a nice resource. -
Hi Maxine. SlideShare was not my initiative, actually. All the credit goes to the speakers themselves, who uploaded their slides. I just collected the links. We had considered Precedings for the slides, but were all under the impression that only science presentations would be appropriate. As the slides from our conference are only marginally hard science-related, we decided against it. Definitely worth investigating further, however, with next year’s conference in mind.

Ok, Anna, I definitely owe you thanks for uploading my slides to Slide Share for me, then. Thank you very much!
