Bob, maybe we can make it a synchroblogging week about public access. I would post something on Monday, explaining the new NIH public access policy. We then have one week to talk about different aspects, e.g. the Open Repositories Conference that took place this week. If he have enough posts, we could write a summary post the following Sunday.

Hi Martin.
With regards to the Open Repositories Conference, check out this url which has loads of links to blogs about it.
April 7th as you say is indeed an important day and marks a new era in NIH and public access terms.
Open Access week? I’m all for that, I’m not a NN blogger but I’ll certainly be happy to contribute.
I’m sure Bora will have some invaluable things to say.

Graham, we should also start a discussion in one of the Nature Network Forums. Publishing in the New Millenium is probably the best place for this topic.

Correct.

I’m hosting The Tangled Bank blog carnival this week if you’d like an easy way to check out the concept!
