Greetings everyone,
I noticed quite a number of network members from India recently and I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone!
As you probably know, I work out of our Tokyo office and my responsibilities extend throughout the Asia-Pacific in addition to handling manuscripts in my area of expertise.
I’m writing today to ask who do you think are the best and most accomplished nanotech scientist in India. Please tell me their name, affiliation (include a website if it exists), their research interest and why you like/respect them.
Thanks and I’m looking forward to learning more about the nanotech scientists in India…

I dont know much about others but will like to mention scientist from my previous institute (National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research) Dr. MNV Ravi Kumar who is working on nanotechnology based drug delivery.
here is the link

SAINSCE, a global nanotechnology company based in India, is networking with a number of experts and researchers for commercialising various applications of nanotechnology- in fields like solar, construction, textiles, water treatment, agri and food packaging, etc. It also undertakes marketing of nanotech products.

IIT-Bombay has a Centre for Research in Nanotechnology & Science (CRNTS)
Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay
http://www.iitb.ac.in/~crnts/as shown earlier by a member here. I guess I am mentioning this centre as IIT-B is the best in India for engineering (personally speaking )..
If I took it at the global level, Prof Citti(cmu.edu) and Robert Freitas Jr. are at the top of my list.
