What kind of neuroscience content would you like to read in this group?

Hello. I’ve only been surfing around Nature Network for about a month now and am curious what the users want. Here, we have a group dedicated to neuroscience with almost 50 members, and the discussion is kind of quiet.
Should we talk science? Career options? Funding possibilities? Gossip? Good places to live AND do neuroscience (important information when choosing a post-doc)? Changes in neuroscience publication next year (the Neuroscience Peer Review Consortium kicks off next year; truly a change in the way that papers are handled)?
I’d just like to get an idea of how the neuroscience community uses this site, or wants to use this site.

I’ve only been signed up to NN for 3 weeks. I am co-admin over at NN Glycobiolgy. We only have 7 Members so far but I’ve got 26 over at my Facebook Group. Will they jump over like I have done????

With the Neuroscience group, as you say, with 50 Members, things are kind of quiet. Since we’re at year end, I would hope that things pick up early in the new year and am confident that they will.
I am only confident that the current (~ 7000 I am reliably informed) number of Members of NN will increase dranatically next year.
But to go back to your posting, a) the link is a dead one and b) I personally would like to see general discussion, links to interesting resources such as books, videos, Manuscripts (preferably Open Access ones) etc. etc.

I read this morning that the NPG Neuroscience Gateway is being extended, with new features being added. Will this include the integration of Action Potential blog and this Nature Network discussion group into that site?

Thanks for the great suggestions! We are definitely considering ways to incorporate AP and NN in the Neuroscience Gateway as part of our expansion, which should get underway this spring. Please keep the comments and suggestions coming!
