Collaborative neuro blog?

I’d like to contribute to a blog on neuroscience, but definitely don’t have the time to sustain a worthwhile site alone. I’ve staked out a great name, brainy.org, and would like to talk with anyone interested in doing something as a group.

It’s great to see so much interest – please email me at info at brainy dot org so that I have your contact information, along with a little basic bio info and what you’d like to see the site do or be. I envision I kind of “Huffington Post” on all things Brain – the site will include well known personalities in addition to new ones, like us! Current big names include famed skeptic Michael Shermer and the media-savvy bioethicist Arthur Caplan, who have both agreed to participate. I want to put all the pieces of the puzzle together methodically, and launch the thing perhaps this summer (or earlier if more tech savvy people who want to work on the site structure get involved).
If you have friends who you think would like to work on the technical details of the site, for bragging rights, credit and links, please get them in touch with me – info at brainy dot org!

The latest news is that the site may be developed and operated in partnership with a neuroscience related nonprofit organization, like the “Hope Center for Neurological Disorders”http://www.hcnd.org
