Stuart Cantrill, the Chief Editor of Nature Chemistry is pretty excited, because the journal’s first papers have just been published online (AOP, or ahead of print, as the technical expression goes). Stuart links to some of these in his post on the Sceptical Chymist blog. The magazine Chemical and Engineering News features a short Q&A with Stuart on the occasion of the journal’s launch (the first printed issue will hit the streets in April). So excited is Stuart that he’s posted the whole, unedited version of the Q&A in his Sceptical Chemist post, so please visit the blog to find out why NPG is launching Nature Chemistry_, how the journal might affect the chemistry publishing community, Stuart’s vision for the journal, how it might be different from other chemistry journals, and more.
