Dear Colleagues
Nature network provides us opportunity to discuss science. I am participating in number of discussions over nature network. Most of the time we talk about indian education/research system its weaknesses and strength. In simple term every one describe system based on their own experience. I hope most of us are researchers, we are all responsible for failure and success of system. I will appreciate if you describe your own experience about science. Please write in detail by considering following points
i) In which area you are working
ii) What is you contribution to science so far
iii) if you are doing research how many publications (impact factor)
iv) Where you rank yourself in your area of research at india and at world level
v) What are the problems you are facing in becoming world-level scientist
vi) do you think that you are not able to perform because you are not as intelligent as your competitors
vii) According to you, how system can be improved without loosing our own productivity
Please write your own experience. This will help us to understand each other. Science is based on facts or hard data.

Dear Dr. Bhargava please take some rest. We are soon returning to Bhatnagar Awardees. We need your help there. These people have suffered. Let them speak. Parliament and Supreme court of India needs to hear from them – they are speaking out their mind. This will help Govt. of India in framing suitable policies and rendering new sight that has been neglected, ignored and maligned for long by the so called scientists.
