Molecular Nanotechnology is not a complex subject like fullerene and superconductivity that siphon money. However it needs clean mind and open heart to avoid open heart surgery in long run. It is second generation nanotechnology that has reduced debate from nanoscale to a simplest of simple molecule. Thus let us begin with a simple molecule water. For common people this is a simple molecule but for Scientists, Technologists, Environmentalist and Managers it is not less than the ongoing nuclear deal between natural scientists and social scientists. We have chosen to speak a lay man science to avoid heat.
Humans are separated from other animals on sense pertaining to energy and behavior sciene. Energy is required for inside survival and outside comfort similar to Rahul’s Chirag shown in Indian Parliament. Behavior is other aspect that is needed to understand human relationship from family to political set up extending it from east to west covering all faith and diplomatic formulations. Water is the simplest molecule that moisturises all belt and quench thirst of all neck. The structure of this molecule is V shaped and taggs two Hydrogen and one Oxygen. When several V are placed together they exchange hydrogen from one V to other but this exchange is very fast and difficult to record on simple instruments. Also the hydogens placed on each V have ability to join each other through oxygen that forms weak hydrogen bonds. However this weak bonds are tough in showing their strength in common and thus we have water as liquid and ice for our daily use and ecological balance. Three simple questions from this forum; Oxygen is supporter of combustion and Hydrogen burns but in water they subside their activity and run to put off fire. How oxygen and Hydrogen will behave if water molecules are allowed to stay together but their right of intermolecular hydrogen exchange and hydrogen bondings are ceased? What they will produce when this assembly is triggered using laser gun? What type of reaction they will show when two distinct types of water assemblies are present in living cells?
