I live in US, I know that Biotech Industry salaries in US are a bit higher than those in academia. Do we have a similar disparity in India? If so what are the ranges we are talking about with different qualifications, lets say for a scientist with BS, with MS, with Phd (no post-doc exp.), during post-doc, Phd (with 2-4 yrs post-doc exp.). I tried finding published reports on this, but didn’t really find any (giving me numbers). I am very curious about how far are these numbers from each other.
If any one has a published report or source, that would be of great help.
