Here are some citations to Bruce Geller’s experiments with Morpholinos in prokaryotes. He’s reported delivering Morpholinos into several Gram-negative bacteria. He’s treated bacterially-infected mice with Morpholino oligos. His early work used unmodified Morpholinos and leaky mutant bacteria, but most of his more recent work has used peptide-conjugated Morpholinos which enter wild-type bacteria.
