MicroRNAs and Plants ;)

They’re pretty spiffy regulators in plant development, from leaf morphogenesis, to stomatal development to fertility in male anthers. They differ from animal miRNAs in a few ways: near perfect complementarity to their target sequences, and so far, target transcript slicing appears to be the major mode of repression.
