Jo Brodie has posted on the Science blogging forum about the new Health Service Journal blogs, which launched today.
Health Service Journal is a British publication on health management and policy. Given that there’s always such debate about NHS legislation, the recent furore about NICE’s decision not to provide certain kidney cancer drugs is one example, the Health Service Journal blogs could make interesting reading.
Jo also highlights an articles about health service blogging in the most recent issue of Health Service Journal
Frank or futile? Health gets the blog treatment
The article makes the salient point that “trust bosses are often the target of bloggers’ scorn but less likely to write them…Blogs offer managers the chance to communicate directly with staff and patients and show the human face of what they do.”
