Hello everyone!
My name is Spencer and I am an eighteen year old Canadian with plans to move to England by July 2008. I will be living in London with a Working Holiday visa which means that I can work for 12 months. I am very interested in finding some work, either volunteer OR paid, to do with the conservation of wildlife, environment, or anything along those lines.
Does anyone know anywhere who may need any type of help in this area. I would love to work hands on with animals more than anything. I am a very outgoing positive worker.
Thanks guys!
Spencer.

Hi Spencer.
London has plenty of wildlife. The river is said to be the cleanest in any major city in the world, and supports many species. We also have plenty of unexpected wildlife, from flocks of parakeets to giant mitten crabs.
A good place to start for volunteer information is Wild London.
Hope that helps.

Hi Spencer,
It looks as though you can also do volunteer work in the Royal Parks.
Also good for the Canadian in London is the Canada Shop in Covent Garden, for when you start to miss (in my case at least) Kraft Dinner and Coffee Crisp.
Good luck!
