this Group builds on the idea that inspired Science in the Bel Paese, the blog which Massimo Pinto opened in November 2007 to promote visibility of funding opportunities in Italy. Visibility is surely something that the Nature Network Portal offers. As I reported before, the mission of the blog Science in the BelPaese was already featured in NatureJobs and on the radio.

The creation of this group will allow discussions to be promoted by many voices. For maximum visibility and outreach, discussions will be in English.
To begin, a forum will be created shortly, to cover open calls for scientific proposals, where readers may discuss the rules behind each open call and report news along the selection process.

If you would like to join in and administer a forum to discuss other issues, ranging from job opportunities to events, meetings, and communication of science to the public, please drop me a line to present your goal. I’d be happy to make you administer your forum in this Nature Network Italy space.
