My name is Karthik.S.Kamath. I have overall 8 months Research experience till date; as a Research Assistant in Thrombosis Research Institute (India). Bangalore.

Currently I am looking for an opportunity to pursue PhD in Biochemistry field preferably in Proteomics.

I have Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Mangalore University, Karnataka, India.

I am currently working on ‘Proteomic Biomarker Discovery for cardiovascular Diseases’ with the help of techniques such as SELDI-TOF MASS SPECTROMETER, 1D electrophoresis, HPLC, flow-cytometer and ELISA.

I have special interest and handling experience of SELDI-TOF MASS SPECTROMETER as well as 1Delectrophoresis which was involved in the Biomarker Discovery project.

I also have experience in performing various techniques like flow cytometer, Protein extraction and purification, conducting ELISA and handling automated system for conducting ELISA.I also have experience working with all types of chromatography including HPLC and Gas Chromatography.
