Future of IGIB revisited...

Hi All,
Its about a year and half since Kangkan asked us this question. I was new to PhD and unaware of the trends prevalent in science in general and IGIB in particular. Now that i have some idea ( still a minor one), i presume that genomics is still making great strides in terms of GWAS, methylation patterns, genotype to phenotype correlations, role of small RNAs; although many people in proteomics have already declared it ( prematurely i think ) as the post-genomic era due to completion of Human genome Project.
So lets get the discussion rolling and see what we all at IGIB think…
