HPLC - Performance of an UV detector

Hey there,
I’m working on a Dionex Summit HPLC system. Lately my lamp intensity of the UVD detector was somehow really low (260 000, formerly 700 000). Even though I have been flushing with consequent solvents and nitric acid, there is no improvement. The lamp is only about 800 hours old and the flow cell looks pretty clean. Maybe there is someone out there who could give me a clou what I can do to improve my lamp intensity.

That does sound bad.
Have you tried scrubbing the dionex label off, or covering it maybe with a strategically placed amber flask?
let me know if it works, love you!
