Follow up to a blog post. What kind of applications would you like to see implemented on a service like EC2?

A very late reply. Had forgotten all about this one. Best thing to do is probably to visit the Amazon Web Services page. They should have all the details there.

Well EC2 is a very open ended and flexible system. Nearly any operating system and software that will run on a standard i386 or x64 system should run fine in EC2. The challenges that exist include configuring software to run using their system, and finding the best way to manage scaling and transport of data.
