The idea is that when funding for the Consortium ends in 2011, NIGMS should be persuaded to reinvest in Glycobiology by setting aside funds for grants to answer important questions related to Microorganism Recognition of Host Glycans.

We are looking for ideas for such RFAs. Consensus from the subgroup on what is important could be quite influential at NIGMS.
