I am interested in taking a microscopy course sometime this summer or fall and it seams there are several good ones in the NYC area (MBL, Pitt, Cold Spring Harbor, etc.). I am mainly learning about florescence microscopy for live and fixed cells, but I am a beginner so I would need a more basic course.

I was wondering had suggestions on which courses they have taken and liked. Also are there any fellowships or grants willing to fund a predoctoral student wishing to take a course (they all seem to be about $3000).
