Hello there.
I’m preparing a manuscript for submission and I’ve chosen to include the methods in the Text. According to the “Formatting guide”,
“If brief (less than 200 words in total), they can be included in the text at an appropriate place.”
Is it appropriate to include this 200 word section after a few introductory paragraphs? And, if so, how do I indicate to editors which section I’m considering to be the methods, given that there are no headings or subheadings to demarcate it?
Thanks!
