Do the editors of Nature look favorably upon citations to other papers published in Nature (or other NPG journals)? In particular, does citation of other Nature papers improve a manuscript’s chances of acceptance?
Thanks!

Dear Lefty
No and No.
The citations in a paper are to relevant work, wherever it is published. The journal (or publisher) concerned is irrelevant.Best wishes
