Hello,

I am a PhD student interested in persuing a career in science writing/ editing. I have attended a few relevent workshops/ courses and am looking for some work experience. I was wondering if there were any such opportunities available at your London office?

I am not looking to get paid and ideally hoping for a two-three week placement. I would really appreciate your feedback.

Thanks.

    • Dear Shriparna
Thanks for your question. If you go to the main page of this forum and look at the entries there, you will find several questions along the lines of yours, together with answers – as well as providing information such as you ask, the answers also provide links to NPG’s internship programme information and current editorial job vacancies. We do occasionally have openings for work experience, so you are welcome to send your cv and a cover letter outlining why you think you would be suitable, the time you are available, etc. But please don’t send it to me personally! Our HR/personnel department is the correct place.
With best wishes, and good luck in your job hunt.
      Maxine.
