Linda Cooper publishes a Correspondence in Nature this week (455, 26; 2008). The Correspondence is free to access and is also reproduced in full at Nautilus. Prof Cooper writes:
The World-Wide Web is remarkable as a vehicle for communicating scientific discoveries. Online journals unite distant researchers and inspire worldwide collaborations.
