As I described in a blog post this is the place to suggest topics for SciFoo Lives On in Second Life. I suggest using a time close to 16:00 GMT, which convenient for Europe and the Americas.

I hope I can make it this time. Feeling so left out :)

Deepak – I hope you can make it too! I know you have a lot to say about Medicine 2.0….

Unfortunately I couldnt’ be there in person cause I got stuck in meetings. Hopefully there will be people who will follow up with me off line about the poster.

Hey, fantastic that the SciFoo has created such a lively follow-up in Second Nature! It, and the forthcoming series of talks by NPG and CSIRO seem to mark the beginning of serious adoption of the virtual medium by scientist community.
Any chances for publishing some kind of reports from the SL SciFoo meetings for us (I suppose I’m not the only one) living in Asian time zones?

When is science and video? September 10?

Jean-Claude posted reports on the first two SciFoo Lives On sessions on his blog at http://usefulchem.blogspot.com

I’ve set up a wiki to keep track of times and session topics:
http://scifooliveson.wikispaces.comRichard,
Yes the video in science session is Sept 10Marylka,
Sorry about the time of the sessions at 16:00 GMT, which in inconvenient for Asia. Most participants at SciFoo were from Europe and the Americas and that time works well for those time zones. You will find links to the transcripts of past sessions on the wiki. Now, if you would like to moderate a session at a different time let me know and I can help you set that up.

JC,
thanks for the info on wiki/transcripts. And yes, I realize you can’t have an event at a time that would be convenient for everyone on this planet, I did not mean to sound offended :)
