Lab Waste video

I finished my video on Lab Waste. Here’s the page for it. The video that’s there now (Vimeo) is not very good (it completely skips some images, especially in the second section) but I’m also uploading it to YouTube and will maybe get around to converting it to a bit more web-friendly format later on. The website will have whatever is the best version.

    • Very Cool video, Eva.
So timely and in the spirit of “Story of Stuff” video (Storyofstuff.com). When ever we give lab assessments to biochemistry labs the issue of disposables comes up.
Our guideline we are trying out at UCSB is, “if it’s safe to throw out, it’s safe to recycle” meaning that autoclaved or non-toxic or non-pathogenic plastic can go in with all recycled plastic. That doesn’t totally close the loop, and it’s a start.
I will pass on this link around the University of California and beyond!
