Investment in Biotech/Pharma Sector Forum

This group is for people who are interested in investing in the biotech/pharma sector (small cap). This sector is unique. It uniqueness is that analyst cannot analyze these company by what they learn from the accounting/finance classes. Because:
1. The operating cycle of these companies is longer than other industries.
2. Companies heavily invested in R&D
3. Most companies don’t have net income because all their investments are result in the intangible which is not reported on the SEC require document.
All these make it impossible for a financial analyst with no science back ground to see the potential of a company. As matter of fact, it is difficult for anyone to see the potential unless they are “in that field”. So, this form will be discussing individual company to see if they have the potential to be the next Amgen!
