Increasingly biotech, infotech, nanotech, quantum technologies & other fields are merging into a multi-interdisciplinary effort. The growing treand is that the techno-engineering scientific researcher must increase their knowledge & expertise to include two or more disciplines. Often effective collaboration is impeded by specialized jargon, methods or other hinderances. In marketing a key motto is Keep It Simple Salesman. It may just be that when it comes to cross-discipline communications the mantra should be Keep It Simple Scientist.
