It is becoming apparent that as seas of data accumulate in many scientific disciplines similar design patterns of complex systems emerge. This group is created to discuss how we can identify those many design principles and patterns, organize them and attempt to develop a theory that explains how all those observed patterns and principles fit into a global theory of complexity and complex systems.
