The College of Life Science’s (CLS) Postdoc Association (CLSPA) established in Dundee in 2005, and was one of the first associations in the UK. It is run by Postdocs for Postdocs, so your participation and ideas are incredibly important!

The committee comprises Postdocs from different divisions across the College of Life Sciences. It collaborates and interacts with senior management at both College and University levels.

The aims of the CLSPA are to:

-be a voice for Postdocs in interactions with CLS management.
-encourage and assist in the career development of Postdocs and enhance their Generic Skills.
-catalyse interactions between Postdocs in different subject areas
-help new Postdocs with local and departmental orientation, through a variety of social activities and seminars
-foster a culture of debate, open communication and information access and career support
-help directly or indirectly with a large variety of issues relating to Postdoc life
