Welcome to the ‘Foodborne Zoonoses’ group on the Nature Network. This group is open to all people interested in foodborne zoonoses.

To introduce myself, I am working as the Communications Director for Med-Vet-Net – a EU-funded Network of Excellence that encourages scientists who are working in the field of food-borne zoonoses to collaborate across Europe. We are currently based at the Society for Applied Microbiology in Bedford, UK.
I work on all communication aspects of the project including the website, publications, and science communication training.
I originally studied Microbiology at Murdoch University in Western Australia and went on to do research in bioremediation with BP Refinery. Since then I have worked as an environmental consultant, and for the last 10 years in various fields of science communication including event management, jouranlism and corporate communications.
