Reply from Hilary Spencer

Infoaesthetics has a similar post on upcoming conferences.

They include the upcoming Graphing Social Patterns West. I don’t see too many vis-oriented sessions there, but GSPW takes place in conjunction with Etech next week (March 3-6) in San Diego, CA. Vis-oriented sessions at Etech include:

Stamen on Web Native Information Visualization

Eric Rodenbeck’s keynote, Information Visualization is a Medium

Daniel Marcus hosts a panel on Brain Imaging for Fun and Profit

J. C. Herz hosting Web Visualization: Beyond RSS Lava Lamps

Terry Jones on Antigenic Cartography: Visualizing Viral Evolution for Influenza Vaccine Design

I’ll probably be attending a couple of these. Anyone else going?
